“The walled city of Dubrovnik is a wonder, with a rich history and many opportunities for walking. Our guide was a lovely person but it is important to know that this is a 'standing' tour not a walking tour. The first 45 minutes of the tour, we stood in one place while the guide gave us a lengthy history of the city. We walked for a very short time, then stood again. Although the guide was extremely knowledgeable, standing for the greater portion of two hours, at times in the hot sun, was grueling. If you want to walk, I suggest you take another tour.”
